First, I'm not familiar with these versions of Blackberry Blossom. But that doesn't matter. It's some damn fine playing you are doing.

If you read this, the bowing style that Bosco has is (from what I can hear) the best exemplar of that 'figure-8' I was trying to describe in my "Requests" thread. That's the sound you want to duplicate. I think Bosco has some videos on you tube which might give you a good working picture.

The Bill Hensley version is the only one I had heard until I got to Fiddle Hangout. The other version is good, and well played, but I like the Hensley version the best. By the way, It's well played too.
