I just uploaded a recording of me having just learned "Over the Waterfall" off of the Evo Bluestein "Learn to Play Appalachian Fiddle." This is the first time I have successfully learned a tune by ear without any notation. I have been listening to the tune daily on my walks, and sat down this afternoon with an earbud in one ear and started playing along. Quickly I found I was able to drop the bud and play it without help.
This cut came after about 20 minutes of playing. It's rough, and not up to "real" speed, but I actually kind of like the tempo. Now, on to figuring out the banjo side of it!
Comments, critiques, etc. are always welcome.
It is also on my ezFolk artist page.

Good job, Brad!
Now the next step is to do a little shuffling in the tune. This tune is very friendly to shuffling (you know, long-short-short-long or Nashville Shuffle), especially in the B-part. Listen to your recording for shuffles. I'll bet there are some.

I'll work on some of those, Bruce. I also have fooled around with some slurs. I know Evo has at least 1 double stop in there: I think it's a C-G (3rd-2nd string). I need to watch the video again to check on it.
Thanks.
