Are fiddle chords the same as if you were to play a fifth on guitar?
Thanx in advance,

They commonly can be major or minor thirds, or fourths, sixths, or fifths. They can also be triads if you have the skill. Fifths are very strong (power chords on guitar, IIRC), so fourths and sixths get most of the work. Fifths and thirds are by no means rare, however - just used a little less, IME.

Play a bunch of them an listen, compare to what you hear on cd's.

A fifth is a fifth, doesn't matter the instrument.

Of course, unless you are talking Wild Turkey. Now that is a FIFTH.

I can vouch for this...
