More About Me

I have been making guitars, banjos, fiddles/violins, and teaching college courses on instrument making since 1968. I've started shops in Chicago, Toronto, South Bend, and Berrien Springs (Mi), where I currently work. One facet of my work that stands out, is my use of domestic materials (Maple, Cherry,Walnut, Hornbeam) that I personally harvest, and replace.
