Its Valentine's Day and love is in the air - with Mardi Gras just around the corner! Time for some "hillbilly r&b" from the Metropolitan Blues All Stars about America's most romantic city. Recorded live to 1/2" 8 track tape in Lexington, KY. I also took the (somewhat murky) back cover photo. Album design by Pam Randolph with a painting by Art Snake (aka Rodney Hatfield, who also plays harmonica on this.

OMG! You ain’t gonna believe this but I play this tune every week for a guy. He's 90 years old and loves that stuff I do. I can't say no.
