...and I know, I mean I don't actually know, but figure it sounds like what it is, is something like a blog.
People always say to check out their substacks. Well I never do. But my whole point here is that anytime I hear the word, substack, it just makes me hungry for a really big sandwich...lol...so I wish they'd quit saying it that way and just re-name it for a hungry groundhog's sake...lol.
Haha I just looked it up it's a content creating platform where you post stuff for your public :-D Imagine, if there suddenly was no internet anymore all the social media kids and adults would have to carry a soapbox to stand on from time to time while being outside, to give a speech/make an announcement/show off what they just bought or what they have been eating.
I would be guilty as well!
I try to reduce screen time though. But when I check this forum I want to learn and just like some good old real conversation.
I also am member of a private dog training community. We have our guru there ofcourse but oh that lady she studied positive reinforcement and belgian malinois so thoroughly, she is my great example and biggest secret, she is living in the Netherlands. I admire her in more than just one way plus she has a good sense of dog humour as well :-D
You can't beat in person, human being contact...getting to be way too rare these days.
And as to the substacks...I envision, automatically when I hear that word, a huge sub sandwich, about a foot long, and stacked so high it's an athletic feat just to get that first bite going. They should re-name that something more like, stacked up online blogging...blog on top of blog...frog-blogging...something like that. The word, blog, does not make me hungry or think of food...the word, sub just makes me hungry for a sandwich. Add stack to it and it sounds like two or three meals stuffed into one sandwich. Maybe I'm just nuts.
Anyway, yes I long for the days if they ever return, where we meet people face-to-face and don't have to try to find the way to write something very quickly and try not make it sound like insults to the people we are "talking" to...a room full of people, and a table full of sub sandwiches stacked tall...there's the substack I'm waiting for...lol. And don't forget the coffee.

As for the end conclusion yes have to be careful but I like my filter off, then I can touch delicate subjects. Heading to our night store now, we sit outside have a drink socialize with people hanging out there, at first glance we sometimes clash with new people, but then we get through the misinterpretations and the outcome is always nuance and often we feel like we reached something this way, a better understanding. They can never stop the communication scientist that's inside of me and I prefer filter off because there is nothing I should feel guilty about or be ashamed off. You do you Peggy! You're a grand lady! Great to team up with hehe.
