1. On the left column it says, "Newest Post" and a gear(setting)
There's 18 different things besides forum post.
If one unchecked the stuff one doesn't care about, the 'Newest Posts' column slows down considerably.
2. If you want to keep track of threads that interest you 'Subscribe.'
If you touch the word 'forum' on the left you can then see a pop-up with subscriptions in it. I use a tablet to browse. One time I accidentally subscribed to a whole section. Yes, it can be done.
3. I'm in my mid-sixties. I'm a pup. I've been playing banjer since 1979. Still, I'm a pup. I've been to the barbershop. I know how it works.
If you haven't followed me, you'll see I'm all about the music. I may not be Frank Sinatra, but I have proof of how crappy or saintly I am.
I attribute this comment to someone over on Mandolin Cafe, 'talking about music is like dancing about plumbing.' Someone could be at it for 2 or 3 months and be a gifted so-n-so. Some struggle for decades. Every day someone decides to jump on the music bus. You don't have to give up you seat. But you might make some room. You never know who you're assisting. It could be your saving grace.
This is why I like the concept of generic folk music. It just belongs to everybody.
