Recently,
I picked up my dream kit. Some of you know, I'm a self taught musician through and through. Do I play fiddle? I play a violin and attempt songs for my enjoyment. I play everything my way. That way it's all mine. I've tried posting a few fiddle attempts on here but instead, I share a recent video I made of 2 drum tracks. I hope you all are having a wonderful summer playing music the way you like to play!
Nice. Like all guitar players who've played in a rock band, I too like to play at the drums. You're laying it down just like I like it too, with that anticipated first snare hit in front of the beat. I also like to do the opposite and delay the second one on the other side of the beat instead.
Erockin, you can play drums anytime for my pirate/jazz/cajun/celtic fusion band when I ever get around to forming it! Nice feel there.
That snare is too low for me, my legs would get in the way of my rim shots.
