Hey all,
Please find below a tune called Jock Broon’s 70th. It’s a reel composed by Gordon Duncan (thesession.org/tunes/10023 ), a bagpiper from Scotland.
Thanks for listening.
@Scotty Road and @Groundhogpeggy, thank you for your kind and supportive comments, much appreciated.
@Quincy, hey yes, what I think your referring to is when am using the third finger on the D or (A string), are hammering onto the fourth finger, but also at the same time crossing over onto the open string. In Scotland, think it’s sometimes called a ‘cranny’.

I used to record in the bathroom for reverb. My new place is too noisy for much recording these days.
@NCnotes., Thank you. Unfortunately, haven’t found folks in my area to play Scottish tunes with. There is an Irish session fairly close by, but haven’t plucked up the courage yet.
@ChickenMan., my wife does NOT like the fiddle, nor my choice of tunes. So from the start, always played in the bathroom with the door shut. You got it spot on!
@RinconMtnErnie., thank you!
