Sometimes, you turn to music in a moment of need. When things don't make sense. Maybe a little lost? It can also have an opposite effect though as well. I can always rely on instrumental fiddle tunes. So it's been a while that I wrote a tune. It's truly a muscle you can loose. Saturday I forced on to the paper and decided to shoot it. Why not? This one is called "Home Tonight" Cheers!

Morning, Ya'll. I appreciate the feedback. I'm just glad to get a listen out of someone. I wished I had the discipline to tweak and truly compose material but once I get it down on paper, I want to record it...so it's stamped in time and then move on to the next. It's weird, the relationship I have with my own songs. I try not to flood forums with content but if a few enjoy it, then that's a good thing.
As for the recording..."less is more." Certainly I've learned what works and where to look when digging in but just a little compression, 3 band EQ with the Bass at 11 O'Clock...Mid around 9...and Treble at 1...and then some room verb. With the camera is what I'm really trying to learn.
