In the Comments, someone gives the name, "Conner Vlietstra". And then says, "Thanks Connor" - so I wouldn't be too sure about any of that spelling.

I happened across it this morning and was really taken by the whole performance, but especially him. I'm unwell at the moment and quite obviously, not with it enough to post the link, or even take the time to check the comments on it. So, please accept my apologies.
I think it's Austin Derryberry that you're asking about.
The fiddler is Austin Derryberry, and the band is "Uncle Shuffelo and his Haint Hollow Hootenanny." They're from Middle Tennessee. I was a judge at the first two Upper East Tennessee Fiddle Conventions in Flag Pond, and Austin won the fiddle contest the first year nafter two extra playoff rounds - I thought we were going to be there all night!

Well, I (and probably mikeb32) had the advantage of having seen these folks in "real life," so I didn't have to rely on the Comments. Austin is quite a fiddler. In the playoffs at Flag Pond, we finally had to request they play tunes in Bb. The loser told me later that he only knew one, so he knew the jig was up. His now-wife won the folk song contest though, so the day wasn't a total loss!
