I watched Molsky returned in seconds, so that's not my excuse. But when I pick up my fiddle %99.9999 of the time, I don't want to think, nor do I have to think. That makes me LAZY! Lord bless ye what cross tune. I agree, sometimes it sounds really high and lonesome. Some call it old timey.
Old time clawhammer banjer. Retune for every key. You can capo. You can play three finger, or two finger. I'm getting thirsty. I better hang up for now.
Haven't read all of the comments..but when we'd tune to GDgd, we'd just play the tunes we'd normally play with an AEae tuning.!
