Hey, I'm a noob, only been learning for 6 months. My violin instructor says it's time for me to have a practice buddy. Is there anyone in the Tampa Bay area who's a beginner too and would like to do that?
Not exactly what you asked for, but you can probably find a practice buddy at these places, someone who likes the same tunes that you do.
There is a jam at Woodright Co. Beer Garden in Dunedin (985 Douglas Ave.) on Thursdays 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm.
I have not been to this jam, but they probably take beginners.
A bit of a drive from Largo, but there is also "The Ale & The Witch" 111 2nd Ave NE downtown St. Pete on Wednsdays 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
There are some beginners. If you have a dog you can bring it.
