This is an English tune, it has no ornaments and was originally part of the Badby Morris dancers set of tunes and dances, sadly like many old English traditions the Badby Morris ring no longer exist, having died out around 70 years ago. This tune like most Morris tunes has no ornamentation, unlike Irish and Scots type tunes.
It also has a slightly darker sound to it, unlike most Morris which are quite cheerfull
