For last day or so, I've been getting the following message when I try to access Slippery-hll.com via

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access this resource.
Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Anybody else having this problem?
Yes I have too. I don't know what's going on, or who to contact. I've been hoping it just would be fixed. I'll post if I find out anything.

Yep, just yesterday I encountered that. Helps to know it isn't my system.
I emailed Larry Warren. We'll see what he has to say. Hopefully it's not something serious (health, weather etc.) but just an Internet issue.
Larry Warren is a member here, although I don't think he's ever been very active. If email doesn't work you could try sending him a PM. Slippery Hill also has a facebook page, but I'm not on FB.
Additionally, the Brandywine Friends of Old Time Music has been supporting Slippery Hill, and providing new content, as explained here:. brandywinefriends.org/slippery...-project/ There is contact information there, even including a phone number. I hope all is well with Larry.
I'll add that Larry's last post on FB said he'd been informed that Slippery Hill was in "FB jail" for 30 days, and someone responded warning him about scammers. Let's hope that some hacker hasn't hijacked the site somehow.

It's working for me. Don't ask me why... but it is as of 10AM 5/2/24.

This verges on frightening...
By which I mean the outage has underscored the fragility of infrastructure and accessibility even as it highlighted the importance the site has achieved in some of our lives. Wake up call...
Whatever it was seems to be in the past.
It is up and running now, though was randomly freezing on some audio files... so maybe still having some issues getting it fully back up.

At least I see a message now that's more like: Site under maintenance - thank you for your patience. That sounds a bit more hopeful.
Working here now, although a little erratic about playing clips.
I tried it this morning, the site opened fine, but got errors trying to get to selected anthologies or tunes. Seems pretty unstable, but I don't know how web sites operate.
