Hey Steve - Great sound. Can you tell us more about how you put this together? I don't know much about Cajun so not sure if the melody is something from known standard, or something you just kinda let happen while noodling along with a very electrified background. Either way it all comes together with a nice catchy beat.

Thanks to you I dug a little more into Cajun & Zydeco music. I'm a Yankee so I really don't know squat compared to Mark Savoy, Jesse Lege, Clifton Chenier, or Buckwheat Zydeco.
Now, I guess my tune is closer to Zydeco, but? My problem has always been to get a good fiddle tone through a pickup. It's possible but too expensive for me. One could run a mike through a looper, but requires headphones. I kinda don't like cans on my head. It's just for my own amusement so.. .
Melodic structure is what I call a 12 bar blues progression. Common, yet terribly maliable. We can dig into this part all day. Let me know

Got a kick out of that "don't like cans on my head" comment. I also HATE wearing those dang things. For that reason have gone to using Audacity to record more and more with my Strum Machine app. I'm beginning to think Audacity can do just about everything a fiddler needs as far a home recordings go. It's an amazing sound tool and all for free.
