Not a Celtic player here but I think The Rightful Aires would make a great name for a group if you are scratching your head to think of one.
I like it, very clever!
I was thinking that if we ever perform, we could have some cool Gaelic name, but actually nobody can ever pronounce those. ( For example, learning a slipjig called "Na Ceannabháin Bhána" and I will never be able to say that... they tell me it rhymes with Banana...I am like, what??! )

Band names are hard to come by these days. so that's a good one! Although, Google tells me there is a Christian metal band out there named Rightful Heir-- still I doubt they could complain about the overlap.
Come to think of it an Irish Trad Metal band could do worse than Bad Aire Day.

"The Rightful Heirs" has a distinctly Christian music ring to it to me, so I wouldn't use it unless that's the type of music I was playing.
The field of Trad Metal music is an interesting one for sure.

For what it’s worth, I always wanted to name my imaginary band - “The Carpal Tunnel Syndromes.” Seems appropriate for a mostly string instrument group.

When I was in a guitar group, we thought about naming ourselves “the G strings”….
but we wound up with 'Gathering of Guitars' aka GoG.
Strings sidenote- One of the players got the license plate "EADGBE", said he had been waiting for it to become free for a few years! We all went out and gazed reverently at the back of his car....
