It's a nice piece of kit, wasn't very expensive either, mind you the amp is quite good, a Roland cube, helps the sound a lot.
Hadn't thought about the shape but it is quite Picasso like in form.

Thanks Fred, I had been wanting to try out an Electric one for a long time, it's very handy for practicing with headphones, which is the original reason I got it. Only had it two days but can't leave it alone.
Sounds really nice! I love my electric fiddle, especially for practice. I can play at a much lower volume than my acoustic with a mute and still get a nice sound.
What strings do you use n your electric, I am thinking of putting tonicas on, as the ones that came with It are not too great to be honest.
It's a bit strange in the fact I can hear it with both ears through the amp. Love the sound though.
I now need a few slow airs to play.
I have Red Label on now, it came with Cecelio, the same make as the fiddle. The tone is a little edgy with the volume up, I may try a set of Fiddlerman synth core I have on hand to see what difference that makes. Unless the strings are downright bad, you might do better with an inexpensive EQ pedal. I bought a 7 band EQ on Amazon for about $35, its like a tone knob on steroids, it boosts frequencies as well as dials them back.
That's not a bad idea about the EQ pedal, I might give that a try thanks for the idea.
