This is an intriguing new instrument, the first in a new line that has just been started by a colleague. It is a one-piece back Guarneri model with deep flames in the maple, carefully selected. It was made in China and varnished in Rockville, Maryland. It has much in keeping with the style of the Hiroshi Kono violins and sounds quite nice, with an ease of response that will suit all players.
