It is called Al die willen ter kaap'ren varen .. In the end I play it as it should be played but at a slow speed.

I've never heard it before but it sounds beautiful...really nice fiddling there, Anja! It does conjure up the feeling of the sea too!
Thanks groundhogpeggy. This is my own interpretation, I constantly vary on the basic melody and play it as usual a bit slowed down AND ofcourse with a cross tuned fiddle (AEAE) where I also start on another note than I am supposed to.
I imagine these slow folk dancers , you know where the man holds up his raised hand and the woman gives a finger or hand and circles around him and they make a lot of bows too while dancing and constantly circle around eachother ;-D

The fiddle break is an Irish Traditional reel 'The Musical Priest'.
Great stuff, certainly captured the Flemish feel, no doubt about it.
'Your Daily Dose of Outrage' 12 hrs
'Bartlett Fiddle Mic' 14 hrs
'Recital Blues' 1 day
'Nice, decorated old fiddle' 2 days
