I've always liked playing those tunes.

Most folks I know, refer to the first tune as "Crested Hens" - seemed to be popularized in Irish sessions from Solas recording. (guitar accompaniment is quite interesting on that recording). Didn't know it had Breton origin.

The other one I also know as part of a Breton Set, but I think by a different name; and know I have it on some recording; but can't think of either, (I think some Contra band).

Sounding good!!
Our flute player (who taught us the set) will be thrilled that her set has spread across the Pond (I think you are in UK :-)

And yes, I learned "Crested Hens" from Solas and I do greatly admire the guitar on their track!! (sigh, makes me want to throw mine out the window :-)

Thanks all for taking a look, both of those tunes I think are really atmospheric, I have heard some great versions on you tube.

I am posting a couple of attempts at different tunes, I had been dropping in and noticed things seemed to be slowing down regarding posts of vids, so hopefully ball will start rolling again:)
