Well, that felt weird to type. "Original Fiddle Tune" lol

Here is a little ditty I came up with this past Saturday while house sitting a sheep farm. I spent most of the weekend playing my fiddle and thought I'd share this in the Sound Off section of this site. I've been playing just a little over 10 months now. End of September will be a year. Instead of me making excuses why it stinks, take a listen...lol. The name of the farm is Yellow Bonnet Farm btw. As always, thanks again for all the advice and encouragement here on this site.

Eric, that's a very beautiful, haunting melody played on a really nice sounding violin. Congrats on a brand new fiddle tune. Keep up the good work!

I opted for Original because at this point, I don't have many tunes down that are presentable. Intonation I understand comes from years and years and I get that. It's annoying to listen back to something that sounds good in the moment. Recording is a whole new ball game. What I started doing is practicing with headphones on. But as soon as that record button goes, the anxiety sets in...lol.

Sounds to me like your getting what's in your head to the fiddle, maybe not as technically as fine as you'd like. Keep at it, I'm sure there's more to come.

Thanks, Carl! You're right about that. It's crazy how the change in tone changes from being right at your ear. In the moment something sounds right but listening back you're like "that's not what I was hearing" lol. It's part of the process. Thanks for taking a listen.
