There is a new Tullamore Dew (liquor -Irish whiskey) TV commercial playing that features a fiddler playing a tune in a bar setting. Does anyone know the name of the tune? It might be a song because the bar patrons later on sing along to it. Catchy tune, I'd like to learn it.

If this is the ad you mean, I don't know the name of the tune, but it's the whiskey I drink.

The same question was asked in the comments section of that clip a couple months ago, with no answer. I suspect it was written for the commercial, and you could just learn it from there, but its just a little Dorian theme - not very long I guess.
Carob, no, not that one - after I made the original post I thought of searching YouTube and found that video. That’s not the TV commercial I’m seeing while watching my baseball team lose. It’s not on YouTube yet. I’ll pay more attention tonight, the commercial plays at least 2x during the 2.5 hours it takes for my team to blow another lead and lose.
I find several SONGS in Tullamore Dew commercials but nothing that I'd call a fiddle tune except "Danny Boy".
