Bruce Greene and Hilary Dirlam - Vintage Fiddle Tunes
Bruce Greene and Hilary Dirlam - Fiddler's Dozen (a year of tunes)
Bruce Greene - Five Miles of Ellum Wood (Old Time Kentucky Fiddle Solos)
And there is a good number of others on DrHBate Youtube channel home page. It would appear that he has digitized vinyl albums from 80's and 90's (as well as recorded live performances) and uploaded them to his channel. I really appreciate his uploads and really pleased that I found them. Thank you sir.
Enjoy.

Youtube (at times) have been pretty good at policing things being posted, but...
Right or wrong, my assumption (since he posted the recording publicly) that everything is on the up and up. Some of them were uploaded a few years ago.

I would be a bit surprised that people who originally produced those recordings had a hand, any discussion, permission, or monetization. Not that the channel did any legwork to sought contacting the, (I could be wrong). How long ago they were uploaded has little to no bearing.
Youtube is pretty bad at policing any of this; in that they don't really. YT allows for anyone to rip and uploaded content, like these recordings; without requirement getting or proof of deal made of permission/monetization of the people who originally produced recordings. Assumes the person's content is assumed original or has permission (or fair use).
They do have mechanisms/tools to deal with it, so right are protected, monetization goes to right folks; but essentially leave responsibility to the actual copyright holder to set that up and perhaps enforce. But nothing happens; until requires someone makes a copyright claim against it.
One way can be the actual holders, folks involved in production seeing it and making claim; and what option to follow (take down, or just remonetization, or other). There also bit of process that follows to contest claim (or not).
The most common way though is automatically via it's AI, and database; it's far from perfect; it's trying to comparing content what has already been put in and claims a copyright; and use conditions the put on that content. Not just bigs like Sony, Universal, Disney... as when you upload a video, the person's content is assumed original (thus protected); or has permission... that goes into the database. Some gets wacky, esp. as dealing with many different copyrights. Depends on how they made settings when upload.... but could inadvertently lead to future folks might get a claim. But again, there are process to contest these... though can be PIA.
Some folks point that bad copyright claim issue seems to be getting worse; as AI and database grows.

I'm not going to go into a defense or prosecution mode in response to the uploads. I acknowledge the problem and I recall some folks (like Peggy - I think) that had issues with YT taking down recordings of themselves playing tunes / songs that YT said was copyright infringement.
My comment about how long it had been uploaded was not a defense. It was an observation that I made, thinking - YT has had a lot of time to "fix this" if it was not in compliance.
Please note - this post is not about YT policies or practices, copyright infringement, or monetization. This particular issue is not that important to me. This situation is not going to make me less thankful for the music I've been able to listen to - along with all the others that have been posted on YT.
I would invite those who do have stronger opinions about these issues to start a separate topic so this subject doesn't get lost in the discussion.
Thanks.
Sorry, just commenting on assumption of "on the up and up" is wrong. Indeed, that very highly likely not with consent nor consideration of the folks on recordings.
Whether, okay with people doing that or not... is something to think about.
Didn't mean to have discussion about YT; other than perhaps wrong assumptions being made; they no idea, nor have responsibility to make sure.
