Tanjo and Crow Project- East Virginia Sky Live on: WITF Public TV
Many of the joys I find myself thinking of these days are, the appreciation of original composed music. Some of the most enriched musical experiences I've been a part of have been learning and performing a friends song. That's really how I got into songwriting and composing myself. I've been drawn to it. The other side of this is seeing ones idea become a fully written number after just one session. Seems like that's what I live for now. The conception and growth of music.
I met Tanner at a bluegrass jam years ago I was hosting and I think it was only 3 of us participating so, we got to know each other musically pretty fast. We hit it off. Fast and off to the races. This kid was a whip on the 5 string. I believe I was on guitar. Nonetheless, our paths would eventually cross again. This time, it was learning some of his original tunes. The more I dug, the more I dug. Now I've had the pleasure of playing and recording with the Tanjo and Crow Project. If you want to know more, they have all the social medias. The whole experience on WITF was a hoot and I could probably tell you some great stories but instead, I'd like to share this special song from that night. Tanner has a slew but, this one is a classic and he carries a classic vibe all already. I hope you enjoy this if you find the time. Have a great Tuesday.
