This time i used a Sony ECM-CS10 stereo lavalier mic between the D&A strings with the wire looped around the fine tuners. Into the sony walkman mic input, with a line out from the walkman into the line in of the on board computer sound card.
No processing and best of all. No foot banging!

Seems to me that the stereo mic seems to give the "Close Mic" thing a bit more "Air" than a standard Mono electret mic? Thing is that the Sony mics only work with other Sony Kit.
