Does anyone have or have comments about this instructional DVD? I'm trying to build and practice regimen to increase bowing options. I'm mostly interested in blues, jazz, bluegrass and country. I guess old time and others fall in there too.

Is this DVD any good? Meaning is it one of the rare ones that really delivers the goods, or does it get too advanced too quickly and ask you to crawl down someone's idiosyncratic rabbit hole?

thx in advance for any replies.

It is available on YouTube in an abbreviated form. I highly recommend it as it really helps someone to relate fiddle sounds to bow movements etc.

Stobbe's video is a fine teacher and his DVD is chock full of worthwhile information.

This video helped me more than any other single thing, except for FiddleHangOut itself. Get it.

Indeed. G.S.'s videos are well worth the investment. R/
