THEN, I found the Kenny Baker version, notes and audio, and was blown away.. Now I have to learn THAT version... I'll never deny a simpler version's popularity but comes a time when I gotta join the Big Boys and learn their versions.. Then I'll know TWO versions of the tune..
Do you play Brandywine?
What I'll do (like in the past) is to learn the tune like Kenny plays it (or something similar) and then tweak it so it flows for ME..
I'm not one to try to sound JUST LIKE another fiddler that I admire but just want the INSPIRATION that comes from learning from them.
