This is an actual sign on my road. What clues tell you nature of the neighborhood? LOLOL! 
Lol...At least they just shoot up the signs...in our neighborhood they shoot into cars and houses...lol. Well that used to happen all the time but fortunately it's been a while since they did that.
Our sign would read -
Welcome to our neighborhood,
a place where people run toward the gunfire.
Somebody in our county decided to call those level B roads. Thing is, there's level A roads (totally unmarked) that are just as bad. It's simple really. You just have to remember the last time it rained and how much, if you decide to run our roads.
1. County sign-maker needs a little more training at letter-stickering
2. Number 8 shot doesn't penetrate--but .30-cal rifle does; though looks like poor shooting anyway; or zeroing in for deer season--would have been better to paint a cross-hairs on it
3. A sign to let you know the county road is dirt now. Wow--who knew?
4. "Clampett's were here".
5. Never graze cattle or even stand behind a road sign in the Ozarks. And if you see a road crew installing a new sign, then get the heck out of range.
Sometimes the sign wins. A kid was going to break a bottle against a sign, it bounced back and pummeled him in the face. What did we learn?
"Here's Yer Sign..."
