Had what seemed like a great idea...never could get it right...had enough stuff happening that kept my concentration kinda off...never could get the fiddle part right at all...finally tuned the viola to sawmill D tuning and tried with that...not happy with that at all...but...if I don't play something when it sticks in my head, it'll never leave me alone...so here is my attempt...not what I wanted but sorta close but worse...lol...my attempt at the old hymn, You're Drifting too far from the Shore...and please excuse the lousy viola playing, but trust me...it sounds a lot better than the fiddle attempts did...lol.
