I watched this great movie yesterday after reading about it on the BanjoHangout: Mountain Minor BHO thread     Here's some Info from Wiki: Wiki link

My wife and I really enjoyed this movie.  I think that even if a person wasn't a fiddle player or old time music fan that they would enjoy this movie.   Dan Gellert did a wonderful job of acting.   This is probably one of my favorite movies of all time.  The music, acting and scenery were great!

I’m glad you liked it! (I heard about the movie when it came to streaming and tried to watch it. Despite my love of music, I personally didn’t care for the movie and didn’t finish it. To me the acting seemed a step or two below "afternoon special." I was intrigued that you specifically liked the acting. I guess I should give it another try.)

The acting seemed to me be how "just plain folks" are.   Not polished. (Well, in my case, at least).   The music and the beautiful scenery was the main feature for me but I thought the actors played actual people pretty well because ---  they weresmiley.

I grabbed my fiddle and played along with Jimmy Sutton and another tune I knew (but can't remember, now.)   That was fun.
