FYI, I listed what appears to be an Eduard Reichert bow on eBay:
ebay.com/itm/324860750306
I tentatively identify it as a Reichert by the (indistinct) stamp, frog inlay, use of bone(?) in screw.
I'm also posting it here because it is an eBay auction, and the FHO swap shop listings require me to give a set price...... hope this doesn't violate FHO rules, Eric. eBay auction listing has more pictures. Description:
Violin bow stamped indistinctly "Eduart Reichart Dresden"
As-found condition. Finish is good, heavy dark rosin deposit on underside.
Bow with frog 56 g., stick without frog 72.1 cm.
Round stick graduates to hex at frog end.
No winding, no grip, needs hair.
Stick warps left approx 3 mm as measured at center of stick (see photo)
Distinctive inlay in frog, light (bone?) screw with abalone end cap.
Please ask questions, bow is located in central PA for inspection, no returns.
I will ship in a rigid cardboard tube with bubble wrap and I will charge $10 for insurance.
