Nice job Peggy. Man, that was some walk. Those chihuahua's must be pooped! And, not too long. Gotta' play a tune for at least 7 minutes to start gettin' the feel.

Thanks, Rich. Honestly...I just didn't know how to go about this thing...watched the movie on the ipad my grandson gave me and then just tried to play on the presonus...sorta at the same time just finding my way through it all...and I didn't think the 7 minutes and 50 seconds would ever be over with...lol. I'm thinking there's gotta be some better way...I just don't know what it is.

Great stuff, got it playing in the background now. Yeah, I know, I'm missing some of the visuals, but ... can't do EVERYTHING at once ... !

Yeah, "not good".  Right.  It gave me thoughts of smashing my fiddle and building a fire and roasting some marshmallows with the remains. surprise

My Peggy (of 52 years) really liked the video.   She doesn't play music but she loves to hike and we do so on a regular basis.   She's taken hundreds of photos of flowers and vegetation, creeks, trees, etc.   We just got back off the mountain on a trip to look at the Aspen.   Finally, cool weather here and the smoke from the fires is gone.

Your country looks very similar to where I spent summer camp in south central Missouri when I was a kid.  I grew up in Kansas City and loved the autumns there and really enjoyed the "Y" camp and Scout camp that I went to every summer "down south".   Your video made me homesick until I remembered.  I don't like humidity.    I don't leave Wyoming to head east in the summer any more, that's for sure!

Yeah it gets pretty humid here. Nice to hear your Peggy and you enjoy the hikes...in the cell phone age, you just can't resist snapping some interesting shots along the way...we always see something beautiful or amazing or both.

Hey, now we all have to try to avoid those smash and burn fiddle thoughts...it's kinda like chocolate chip cookies...try to avoid that too...well, giving in to the cookies might be better than giving in to the smash and burn fiddle spells...yeah, we've all been there...can't go there...get a cookie and tune up and start playing the daylights outta your fiddle...lol.

I only eat my Peggy's macadamia cookies.  And, there's never one around when you need one.   And, I'm playing the dickens's out of my fiddles.   I recently sold my Coda NX to a friend and bought a JonPaul "Fusion" bow.  I really prefer the J.P. bow.   The thumb pad doesn't look like a garter snake swallowed a rabbit and feels much better for me.   But, try as I might, I'll never get to your level.  If only I would have started the fiddle when I was young (like 20 years old) instead of 72, I might be able to play as well as you do!

Well macadamia cookies sound great! Glad you got a snake-free bow that you like. I appreciate the compliments, but, no, I'm not that good...I just try to play easy stuff...lol. Don't we all wish we would've started fiddling at a young age...lol. Just think, we'd be as good as Michael Cleveland by now...lol...well, maybe.
