This is a mix of different things I've heard along the way. standard tuning

I enjoyed this. I play this song b/c I've always enjoyed it as an Appy Mixolydian tune.

Great interpretation of it--drones on A. I've always played more notey melodic with a GA shuffle. I'm not much of a dance fiddler, but try to get a down-bow at least every other measure. Maybe I'll try to use more A-string on mine like you do.

Only way to make it better is to sing a verse in between. Tell the gee-tar he/she did a good job.

Wow...I think that's about the best June Apple fiddling I've ever heard! Love the way you played it!

A favorite, Greg. I don't do it on fiddle, but I do Claw at it on the banjo - in double-D, if I remember right, it's been a few years since I've played it.
