Hey guys...found myself alone in the house for a few minutes this morning...chihuahuas sleeping and not yapping...quiet house...free for me to make some noise and felt like singing. Lately I've had a lot of trouble thinking up things to sing or play when the mood strikes (everyday!!!)...but just thinking about the climate around today...and back to college days when we all sat around with our guitars singing this one all the time...it was a great song for singing together and just feeling together. Ain't got nobody to sing it with me now...so...hoping the "internet" will join in...somebody, anyway...too bad I didn't take the time to figure out what key I had the banjo in...it's in some key...you'll find it...

Few days ago I was fooling on the banjo and came out this great Joni Mitchell song.. I tought how much I would have liked to sing this song comping on the banjo... but... it is not for me!

Thanks, Paolo. Nice banjo playing there...very nice style you have. I know a lot of people who say they can't sing, but when they do, it is really beautiful to hear. But regardless, I do love your banjo style...very good stuff...thanks for sharing that.

Love your singing. I've been singing that Ed McCurdy song since I was was kid (early 1950s) and also have been singing it with the kids at my local Quaker Meeting for the past 30 years. Sorry to say it's a dream that probably won't come true in my life time. or maybe never. We can still work, hope and pray for it.
Thanks. I hear ya on that. I guess we can dream and hope. I really thought the pandemic might pave the way for humanity to come together...still could I guess. It's a really nice song with a very good message.

we could do a Shared Drive Folder where who wants can post a video of this song, if we play and sing along Peggy's video (using Headphones) it should work!
then I can mix it up and do the video editing, I'm quite smart in this since during lockdown I had to learn how to do orchestra work with my students, this is one of the video I recently made
That's so cool, Paolo! I have no idea how anything like that is done. I wouldn't mind singing another part with it if I ever knew how...or playing fiddle, etc. If I knew how to do this I'd be doing it all the time...lol. Either way, on my own, alone, or with anyone else who cared to join in. Looks like so much fun.
The important things is to fallow peggy’s video to be all in time with her, listening with headphones so in each video there is only the audio of the musician that is playing...
I don’t know if it is clear what I’m saying... in English it is difficult for me sometimes!
