Today is the eleventh week since my wrist/arm surgery. Well I grabbed a fiddle down the other day and played through this thing as wild as I could and it made me wrist happy...so...I figure it's the happy wrist song. Yeah you could sorta imagine some words...lol...still...I can't say how happy I feel to be playing something that requires this much wrist. I even double shuffled, hokum bow style the other day, but when I tried it today and listened to the track...it sounded pretty sloppy...lol...in other words...no, I can't hokum bow...but just happy to be doing this today. Hoping clawhammering will follow shortly.
P.S. I couldn't hokum bow double shuffle even before I broke my bones.

I like the straight-forwardness of the playing, Peggy. I'm not much for a bunch of fancy fal-da-ra when it comes to great tunes.
Glad you're getting back to feeling good about your playing.
Sounds like your back for sure Peggy! Great job on RTA, I’m with Fred, to much extra “ stuff” thrown in tends to ruin a sweet ol tune like that. Hope to hear some clawhammer banjo from you soon! Loy
This is great, Peggy...and I'm so glad to hear your wrist is feeling better!
