RIP, Long-Haired Country Boy
RIP. I remember listening to the infamous DWDtG when I was a young teenager and thinking nobody could be that good on the fiddle. I didn't even know where to start.

He was there every year at the NFR. He put on a hell of a show on finals night! As long as he was in town he put on a show at the Orleans. Intimate room. Maybe 500 seats. Such an easy going way. He had band members, i wanna say 35-40 years. Now, there's a good boss! RIP
A man of ethics and morals, a true red blooded American down to the bone marrow! I went to one of his early shows and really enjoyed it. He was hard on bows; he broke three or four of them that night. I still have that album also, the son of b one. Another tragic loss.
Sure thought a lot of Charlie Daniels! Love his music and his patriotism, he will be so missed!
