For sale is a violin made by Mohsen Shamloo, the “Violin Maker of Tehran” in 2002. It was purchased then and played in the National Sypmhony in Iran. It has been played professionally from then until just recently. Shamloo himself did some repairs on it after it had some damage in Iran. All the repairs are still solid after more than a decade. It is fitted with Wittner FineTune pegs, which were installed when they first came onto the market. Its button has a pleasant Eastern flair in its shape. Very responsive and easy to play. This is a very rare instrument indeed, made by a maker featured in The Strad magazine.
