I recently purchased a Henning violin made in 1920 and have become fascinated by his story. Other than a short biography, I have found nothing more about his life or the whereabouts of any of the more than 500 instruments he built. I would love to hear from anyone who owns a Henning violin or knows anything about him.
I've got 3 and have sold many other over the years. I did get one about 15 years ago that had his obit in the case. There are probably more of them around here since he lived in Seattle for a while.
