I have a beater fiddle with these odd mechanical pegs that I am not familiar with. I am wondering what brand they are. I am also hoping to secure one that works or a set if they are still sold. My intention is to turn this instrument over to someone that had their fiddle stolen.

And I found a reference to these pegs on another forum. Caspari is apparently their name. Anybody got one sitting around?

I have a couple of instruments with those on them. Sorry, no extras. The Casparis work pretty well if adjusted properly, but they can be a bit finicky. I don't know of any source for extras, and because they are finicky, I probably wouldn't pass them on to some unsuspecting player. If they're not working well, it would probably be best to replace them with something like Wittner pegs, or traditional pegs. Either of these may need spiral bushing for proper fitting.
