Can carbon fiber bows loose their shape? I have one that I can no longer tighten, has the bow lost it's tension, the hair stretched, I really don't know how to zero in on what is wrong. As much as I turn the screw I can only get the hair 1/4" from the bow.

More likely needs a rehair, or humidity has spiked which causes hair to stretch.
If you take it to a shop for a rehair they can tell you if it's the bow or the hair too.

Yes the hair is the likely culprit. A wood bow will occasionally need to be re-cambered. I have not heard of a CF bow losing camber but I expect it is possible if unlikely. An old trick is to put a short piece of wood match stick under the hair at the tip and then tighten the screw. It is also possible , not knowing much about your bow, that a re-hair will cost more than replacing the bow itself. But as kurth83 suggests a shop is the place to find out. R/
