I found this recording online a while ago (maybe on here? I don't even remember) but wherever I got it didn't have the name of the fiddler on it. I am curious who it is. Anybody know?

It's an old Texas style tune called Sally Johnson - that much I know. I just want to know who's playing it.

Do you have the original downloaded file? If so, can you right-click to "View Info?" (or similar?)

It might have embedded information that would provide a clue as to where the file came from or who was playing on it. I think it's also possible to view that kind of information from iTunes.

It appears to be the same recording as this one posted by Gayle Hopson

Sally Johnson

From the description: "Junior Marriott & Gayle Hopson - Recorded by LaRue Hopson - Harrison, Arkansas March 11, 1998"

You're welcome! laugh
