I'm in a rural area -- don't have anyone close and need to get bow fixed. got up this morning and my frog was stripped. Last time I had it rehaired in high humid minneapolis and when I got home to nw MT hair has been short. probably too little contact in threads for past couple years.
These folks. You get online ... order a shipping tube , schedule a re-hair and send it off. Keep the shipping tube for the next time you need a re-hair. Sounds perfect for you. I live north of Nashville so I make an appointment at a shop there and spend the day oogleing instruments while they re-hair my bows.... R/
Is the hair itself OK? Could a longer screw solve the problem (especially if you need one anyway)? Do you also need a new eyelet?
OK If your hair is still good order a new screw and eyelet here. A question .... do you keep a humidifier of some king in your case. R/
Woo hoo ---Thanks Richard and Doug hadn't looked at replacing eyelet and screw, and for 6 bucks. This is one of those times it really paid to ask someone who knows. Simple to you but i truly didn't know.
