Ever want to play a cool western swing double stop over the key of C. Here's one for you. This double stop don't really care how many chords you are playing in.. but the less chords the better like 1-4-5. At the very end of your phrase or the ending of the tune play this. Take and play your A on you your G and G on D notes together thus a double stop. Start with playing the two notes very softly and increase the volume the closer you get to the end. The way I play it....play the notes at the same time...play the notes a little flat when you start and with a light volume...now start drawing up to the correct pitch while you increase your volume..add a little vibrato and you got it. Now if you don't have vibrato don't worry it thats something you'll get latter. It's not a hard lick to play but does require you to have a little technique That's the jest of how you play it..there's a little more that goes with it but I think you get what I'm talking about. Now practice this and one day you'll see how cool it is or turn into something else you like doesn't matter just practice it
Thanks! Will work on this!
Man I wish I could win the lottery and just work on fiddling and studying!!
