Season Greetings from Erynn Marshall & Carl Jones - December 8, 2013

Dear friends, A big, hearty, happy holidays to one and all. Nothing like the crackle of a fire on a cold, windy night to warm the heart and set your mind to pondering how the year has gone and how there is so much to be grateful for. Inspiration, old fiddles and tunes to play, and folks like you that appreciate such things. Here’s a few moments we are reminiscing over and news of good things coming soon on the horizon.

Music Camps

We are looking forward to seeing many of you in 2014 in our travels. One or the other of us (or both!) will be at the Festival of American Fiddletunes - Washington, Sore Fingers (England), Blue Ridge Old-Time Music Week at Mars Hill, North Carolina, Midwest Banjo Camp (Michigan), Peacham Music Festival - Vermont, Augusta Old Time Week (fall) West Virginia. Plus we are playing lots of shows coming up in Kentucky, Georgia, Virginia and we are heading to Canada this year too. We'll post the whole schedule on our websites soon.

Erynn teaching private lessons again

Good news for those who enjoy Erynn's classes. After a 5 year hiatus on private lessons Erynn is turning her focus back to one of her great passions - teaching fiddle! She will teach lessons or via skype (from the comfort or your own home) or in person to anyone coming through Galax,VA. If you'd like guitar, mandolin, banjo or songwriting lessons you can have skype or private lessons with Carl. To set up a lesson call or email us at erynnandcarl@gmail.com (276) 236-8445. Gift certificates are available for lessons too in case you'd like to give them away. We charge $40 per hour.
