One of our fellow fiddlers and a friend to many of us here is in need of support. If any of you have gone to the Indiana Fiddlers Gathering or Clifftop I am sure you have met her or seen her play. I am talking about Tricia Spencer, long time fiddler for Prairie Acre. She is making a CD and her words are better than mine, so here is a bit of what she is trying to accomplish.....
"Through this CD, I am hoping to inspire other fiddlers who can't necessarily travel to these festivals or who don't have these source recordings and hope to help the next generation of old-time fiddlers get started."
Tricia is a very friendly, honest and generous person, she did not want to post on this site and impose on others, so I ask her to let me do it. I feel others on this site who share the passion for the fiddle or who have ran across Tricia at one of the many festivals she attends would want to help her out in any way and I am sure many will love to have the CD she is making.
Please go to her site and check it out. Here is the link.
