...but the shirt still fits.
Getting ready for a fiddle and cello workshop in Maine. We'll learn to play for contra dances.
Torn between my "Kovacs" violin which I've had for the past 30 years( played very little for 20 of that but now back on track), and my new , wild yellow, violin, custom made by Mandogryl on this forum. This fiddle is called "the Bumble Bee" because of its yellow color, bee stings, and great deep tone. It's now 2 years old and improving with age and use.

Hey there, glad you like the bumble bee. It was a lot of fun to build.
Good to see you posting again!
By the way, how's Angeline The Baker coming along?

Yikes!!!! It has been a long time. Too much work. Will retire this summer and move to Maine.
"Retire" means living my bliss: farming in the first 5+ hours of the day and playing my fiddle and drawing in the other part of the day.
I'm so excited. Joined MOFGA: Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association 2 years ago and have been studying since. Also wish to volunteer in Farms-to Schools program.
Current musical status: book 4 Suzuki and level 5 at Maine Fiddle Camp.
