Well then... I just arrived home from an extended time away, family business. I had little time to play and truth to be told little energy to do so. My instruments sat lonely in the corner... play me they said. Well I played maybe a dozen times in two months. For me that is barely playing. I worried for my calluses.
It is good to be back home...... makes me wonder how I might have done on the road. However hotel beds do beat air mattresses in my experience.
So I am back with my instrument friends and associates trying to catch back up to where I was on my 1/2 learned tunes and some I thought I had under my belt....
As always I look forward to summer and Spring music festivals and camps
If I see any of you out there I hope we get to pick a bit. Be well all... R/

Oh, I hear ya . . . Though I do play every day, I've had a severe flareup of inflammation in a couple of my joints that have affected my fiddling, and ten minutes a day just doesn't cut it. But that's all I can handle some days. So there's been some quality backsliding in my playing . . . ** sigh! ** Good news is that a few diet changes and posture changes I've made seem to be helping, so maybe within a couple weeks I'll be able to increase my fiddle time. And jam night I just drug myself silly . . . LOL!

What winter!? We've had no rain, little snow, and temperatures in the 70s now. Bring me some storm before the warm!!!!
