Got a trivia question: I am looking at a stainer violin, copy of course) old in picture it is in an old thick sided wood coffin case, I'm guessing 1870 to 90's by picture.Handle gone latch is set on the angle of the coffin body. Label in side is rectangle with corners cut off at 45 degrees. straight line at bottom. label says Jacobus stainer, m, Abfam
prope Oenipotum 17 33
the J hangs down in Jacobus and 33 is in heavy ink, hand written (Feather?)
My question the (m) rather than (in) and Abfam both unusual. Any ideas on Nationality ? When I get it I'll send a picture. but i'm dyin of curiousity. thanks Chris Also the 4 corners of violin are honey colored email@example.com

There are many stainer copies, and they vary greatly in quality. Images would help.
