My Instruments:
German fiddle (circa 1850) bought by my grandfather in 1914 (from a blind music teacher in Tarpon Springs, FL) for his children to play. I'm the first in my family to actually play fiddle.
Favorite Bands/Musicians:
Allan Block, Fuzzy Mtn. String Band, Joel Mabus, Red Clay Ramblers, Skillet Lickers, NLCR, J.P. Fraley, Gerry Milnes, John Hartford, Ernie Williams (who taught me banjo many years ago), and many others.
